Connecting with my students is the most important thing for me: I want to get to know you, your interests and your learning targets to make my lessons as helpful and as engaging as possible. I usually draw on a text, a film or another piece of media in my lessons to help you to understand grammar and vocab in context. I also use videos and texts as a basis for reading, writing, speaking and listening activities. Materials that I use include newspaper articles, snippets of novels, YouTube videos and clips from films and TV shows. The beauty of learning a language is that you can really tailor your learning to your interests, and learning isn't restricted to textbooks!
