Hello prospective student! To create engaging lessons, I use a variety of digital formats including Google applications, video conferencing, online annotations apps such as Kami, and Nearpod interactive lessons. I include opportunities for discussion, guided practice, and independent work in my lessons along with multiple ways to demonstrate mastery. I have been a teacher for 13 years at the secondary level and have received the honor of teacher of the year twice in my career. I earned a Masters degree in Learning and Technology and a Bachelors degree in History Education. I am a certified special education and social studies teacher.
