Hello!
I am currently a lecturer and a PhD student, I am looking at doing some private tutoring to enhance my portfolio, get a wider range of experiences and teach some more diverse content!

I absolutely love my job! I have been in education for over 5 years now working in special needs schools, further education settings and sixth forms.

Students lie at the core of my teaching philosophy and I truly care about their success and wellbeing, I similarly love my subject, sociology is my passion and this shines in my teaching practice, I specialise in teaching through discourse and conversation ensuring students feel comfortable to probe, ask questions and share ideas.

As I am currently a lecturer I know everything there is to know about my course and will help with everything ranging from content knowledge to essay structure. I am highly skilled at working with young people who struggle with anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions and am currently a mental health first aider.

I am aware my fees may be slightly above average on this platform but this just reflects my extensive background and skills set, a handful of lessons with myself can boost your grade. I currently have one of the highest achievement rates in my workplace and have managed to ensure young people from deprived backgrounds go on to University and make the most of their potential.
