Every student is a partner in this journey, so let's work together to prepare you for whatever exam or test you are aiming for! I know you are unique in this educational landscape and need personalized materials and practice that fits your needs. My job is to use digital and paper-based material, links, and even videos- in addition to targeted practice sessions- to help you learn at a pace that best suits your learning style. I have been teaching high-level students in IB, AP, ELA, conversational and test-based English as a Second Language curriculum-and various other programs. As well, I know how busy students can get and am mindful to choose only the most effective materials in order to help keep progress moving forward in a meaningful manner. First, we need to determine your timeframe to succeed in your goals and what your current level (s) is. Thereafter, my job is to use this information to coach and guide you to those goals. We will lay out a plan that we set together and will evaluate as the sessions progress. Tests are based on knowledge of the test formatting and materials, but also, they depend on mental confidence in a testing environment. Some students struggle with test anxiety, but I have multiple differing practices that I have used for students suffering from test anxiety or other issues that might keep them from hitting their goals.
