I am currently teaching English as a foreign language with both children and adult students. I also prepare students taking their IELTS exams. I have completed, with distinction, a TEFL course with TEFL Academy, after which I completed a CELTA course. Further, I went on to complete a Level 7 Diploma in TESOL.
Predominantly, I tutor privately, but have worked for several organisations on short-term teaching contracts, such as Assist Tutor in North London and Global Banking in East London. I currently do seasonal work for UK China in Guildford, where I teach teenage students from China in a classroom. I, also currently, have regular students on my books including individual and group classes.


Counselling Training

Having completed my Level 3 counselling Skills training, I have taken these skills over into the teaching sector and I am currently teaching English as a second language.
Having counselling skills gives me the ability to relate to, and communicate with my students, to understand their individual personalities and learning styles, optimising my own teaching style and motivating my students to their full potential.
