I use skype and upload files and share my screen for listening activities and pdf's for games and images to support learning. I engage the student in conversation to allow me to assess their level and for me to write down things that are said that use incorrect grammar so that I can allow the student to correct themselves after the conversation. I have experience with all ages so have a lot of age appropriate material to choose from. I sometimes use course books to give my classes a structure and to give the student a sense of achievement, knowing they have completed an intermediate coursebook for example. I always end the lesson on a game or interactive activity, and am prepared to create activities to suit the students interests, be that reading material, listening or a game.
