I have been a tutor for secondary school physics for 3 years. Inofficially, I have been tutoring my peers ever since primary school. I prefer online teaching using Microsoft Teams and BitPaper. Lessons can be conducted in English, Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, my lesson approach for academic subjects is very much examination-oriented. Bring me your physics, maths or engineering questions and I will teach you logic in solving them. You will be able to solve not only the questions you brought, but also similar problems on your own in the future. A typical lesson will involve you bringing me your questions, and showing me how you would work on them. I would 1) point out and clarify any misconception that you may have; 2) show you some variations of the question which can be worked out with a similar thinking process. Towards the end of term/year examination, I would prefer a final drill on your school's past papers or public exam papers.
As a tri-lingual, I can teach Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, in both traditional and simplfied writing.
I have also taught the traditional Chinese instrument Guqin since 2020. Guqin is an instrument of more than 2000 years of history.
