My teaching philosophy is simple. I use a hands-on technique and am approachable to my students. I incorporate fun into my lessons when possible. And while my easy-going style is suitable for many subjects and grades, I am also able to adapt my style to the needs of the student.Use infographics, real objects, images, video, and interactives on devices. Support text with visuals and audio. Turn on the closed captions on videos. Present digital rather than printed text so that students can personalise the ways they access it.There are several different methods to assess pre-existing knowledge and skills in students. Some are direct measures, such as tests, concept maps, portfolios, auditions, etc, and others are more indirect, such as self-reports, inventory of prior courses and experiences, etc.help students assess their own learning over a period of time and give teachers and schools important information for long-term planning.The most reliable way to assess students' prior knowledge is to assign a task (e.g., quiz, paper) that gauges their relevant background knowledge. These assessments are for diagnostic purposes only, and they should not be graded.provide valuable information about student learning. They tell us what students learned, how well they learned it, and where they struggled.provides advice and guidance and helps students clarify ideas and limit tasks. This role can be a great way to pay individual attention to a student. It can also allow a teacher to tailor make a course to fit specific student ught directly to students and are critical for literacy development.
