PIANO / KEYBOARDS / DRUMS

I started learning piano in 1969 and drums in 1977. I started performing professionally at the age of 14 playing drums in a band. From then I continued as a musician both piano / keyboards and drums.

In 2000, I also began teaching in schools as a travelling teacher, and as a private too. I stopped teaching when I relocated to the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area

I retired from live gigs in 2019 and have all this knowledge and experience to pass on.

My lessons will be interesting and fun - tailored to what YOU would like to learn. I have taught students from age 4 to 88. I work at YOUR pace and always believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question. If you want to know - I will explain.
