Prior to the first lesson, I will ask you to fill out a quick questionnaire with questions about your strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences. Ideally, I’d like to receive this before our first lesson so I can prepare a session catered to your individual learning style.
Although each lesson is personalized, they generally follow a structured format. We start with a quick review of the previous lesson’s content to ensure understanding and retention. Then, we dive into new material tailored to your needs, followed by an interactive discussion to engage with the concepts more deeply. Toward the end of the lesson, we focus on practical applications, such as essay planning or exam strategies, to reinforce the material and build confidence.
I’ve always gone out of my way to help classmates understand the content that we are being taught. However, I only have two years of formal tutoring experience, in both one-to-one and group settings. My students are on track to achieve A, possibly A*, in the upcoming exam season. Throughout my tutoring experience, I’ve developed a strong ability to identify and address individual learning challenges, ensuring each student receives the support they need. My goal is to not only help students improve academically but also build their confidence and independent learning skills.
