Hello! My name is Jamila (Ja-mee-la) and I would love to be your tutor! I am extremely passionate about both English Language and Literature, and I am looking forward to working together as a team, and watching your enthusiasm for the subject grow as much as mine did!

When it comes to my teaching approach, I always aim to create a fun, engaging and attentive experience, as I find this helps in building a trusted bond between me and my students, where they feel safe in expressing concerns and asking for help. I used this particular approach with some students in the past, and found that this enabled me to target weak areas in their knowledge, thus, increasing their confidence and boosting success!

Regarding the format and content I would like to use, I typically use Google Slides to make my lessons easier to gauge and comprehend. This also allows me to make my lessons much more vibrant and enjoyable to further strengthen the engagement of my students! Content wise, I would firstly identify the areas my students are less confident with, and tailor their lessons according to this information so that there are no gaps in their learning! I also love to include quizzes either before or after the bulk of the lesson, to refresh the content of the previous lesson!

Finally, I aim to use this opportunity not only to teach, but to also learn valuable lessons about the craft! Just as my previous English teachers did, I will focus on using any means necessary to get the best results for my students and increase their love for English!
