Fluid sessions based on what information is needed from each area of study. Sessions are a mix of theoretical understanding, practical application, and critical reflection. Each lesson follows a structured plan, carefully crafted based upon the needs of the individual. After an initial consultation, the learning block will be created and broken down as appropriate.

Fluid sessions based on what information is needed from each area of study. Sessions are a mix of theoretical understanding, practical application, and critical reflection. Each lesson follows a structured plan, carefully crafted based upon the needs of the individual. After an initial consultation, the learning block will be created and broken down as appropriate.

An example block would look something like this:

1: Introduction to anatomy and physiology (weeks 1-2)
2: Specific energy requirements of athletes competing in team based sports (weeks 3-4)
3: Specific energy requirements of adults over the age of 65 (weeks 5)
4: Adaptations to resistance training (weeks 6-7)
5: Cardiovascular considerations of exercise (weeks 8)
6: Practical application of prescriptive exercise (weeks 9-10)
7: Critical reflection and analysis of exercise prescription in athletic and elderly populations (weeks 11-12)

Each lesson is dictated by both the coach and the learner, as the sessions follow a polytechnic approach aimed at maximizing student satisfaction and learning.

These sessions offer a more relaxed environment compared to school/university, while still remaining the same in terms of information provided and structure. Sessions are commonly on a weekly basis, however, can be changed to bi-weekly or every other day depending on the individual needs of the learner.

The most important factor from these sessions is the maximized learning and enjoyment of topics commonly covered within university or school, and allows more freedom to ask questions to someone who has been there and done it! All the information provided is backed up by literature, academics, and practical experience.
