I offer my students guided, interactive lessons using PowerPoint, covering English grammar and offering plenty of speaking practice, from an intermediate (B1-2) level upwards. I can also provide take-home resources including reading, writing and listening exercises.

My emphasis is on getting students confident communicating in every day life, to overcome the language barrier and to find enjoyment in the imperfections and making mistakes, as a means to grow. For me, it is about getting out there and expressing oneself in a new language from the get go

For more advanced English speakers looking to up their speaking skills for professional endeavours e.g., in preparation for interviews and for entering the English-speaking working world, we can mix things up, agree on a discussion topic or have completely open-ended discussions. I always provide constructive, actionable feedback

My USP is catering to the needs of Spanish native speakers learning English, being fluent in Spanish myself. Whenever it is helpful to clarify more complicated points with students, I'm happy to switch to Spanish. Students may also find it beneficial to look for parallels in Spanish in order to solidify their understanding of English grammar and sentence structure. I can facilitate this process
