Jamie Hyde

I'm an experienced, international, Cambridge University educated tutor with over ten years of experience tutoring a range of subjects to students of all ages for a range of purposes. I'm passionate about the subjects I teach, and hope to share and cultivate that passion with you.

My approach to tutoring is to be approachable, positive and collaborative - developing a plan with you, to suit your needs. I strongly believe in tailoring my approach to the student's needs and desires, so I am adaptable to meet your requirements, whether that is preparation for a specific exam, general practice and support, or any other specific purpose. I tend to tutor online, and my lessons are dynamic and varied - again, focusing on designing a plan tailored to what you want, what you would value the most and what would benefit you the most as the student.

My academic background is in languages (French, Spanish, Russian, German and Portuguese), linguistics, literature, anthropology, economics and history, so am able to offer support in all of those areas and more. Whether you are starting out in any of those subjects, would like some refresher classes, preparation for a specific purpose or just have a general interest in the subject, I am more than happy to make a plan with you that works for you.
