Jamie Crosland

I completed my GCSEs in 2018 scoring 8s in both Maths and Physics. I continued to study both these subjects into A level before moving on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. I have completed three years of this degree and am currently taking a year out to work at an engineering firm in central London. After this year I will return to finish my Master's degree.

I'm very happy to work with students to find the best teaching method for them. Generally I would like to be told a topic beforehand and then I will spend some time preparing a lesson on this topic to suit the student personally. I hope to provide a friendly working environment. I loved learning maths at GCSE and I hope to encourage others to as well. I am also very happy to discuss and advise about pursuing a career in STEM subjects.

I can also work to find the most convenient time for students. I work a 9-5 job but I can teach on weekends or in the evenings. I am happy to travel for lessons as well as do them online.
