My students have always said that the way I teach is very inductive - I like to show examples of language or texts and then ask the students to explain its features as much as they can. The other parts I teach with clear examples. I like to use real life samples of English, for example; web articles, documentaries, academic journals and other types of reading texts that accurately reflect good sources for research at university level.

I have achieved excellent pass rates for students sitting a number of different exams – IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL and AES. Apart from experience as an IELTS speaking examiner, I have taught classes for all of these as well as designed courses for IELTS.
I have been very described as very approachable, communicative, adaptable and always willing to listen to specific challenges and needs faced by international students. I like to be as flexible as possible but at the same time set realistic goals - it gives me great pleasure to see students succeed.
