I like to take an engaging approach to teaching by allowing the student to feel as though they’re the ones who are progressing instead of listening to someone just talk and talk. I believe anyone can be great at anything with the right teacher and I aim to do just that. I will not only teach them things which they need to know for their education, but also go deeper into the field and educate them on why things work not just tell them that they do work. This will hopefully make the student become more interested and enjoy the subject easier. When in school most teachers I had just taught from an textbook without being very inspiring, my main goal is to inspire the next generation of mathematicians. The dynamics of my lesson are evenly split, being that I will teach and explain and then the student will practice and talk me through, whilst having me there for any support when necessary. My experience has been successful in the past and my goal to inspire has been carried out. Even though my specialty is in maths, I can also help out with any queries in Physics and or Chemistry if the students ever need.
