James Pugh

Hello, my name is James Pugh and I am a Year 12 College student. I am currently studying A-Levels in Drama, Business and Product Design. My aims after college include going to University and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education (BEd) and becoming a teacher in a Primary School.

I know how stressful exams can be and the lead up to them is even worse. As a tutor my job is to help you revise and learn the key information for your exams so that you can get your well-deserved grades and go on to do what you want to do with your life.

My main goals with my lessons is to make them work for YOU, to help relieve exam stress and teach you some methods which you can use to revise and prepare for your exams. I tutor people for their Year 6 SAT exams and Year 11 GCSE exams. Outside of sessions my students are more than welcome to reach out for support and guidance via email or text message.

Some smaller aims I have with my lessons are for them to be:
- Interactive,
- Enjoyable,
- Valuable,
- Helpful, and most importantly,
- Adaptable.

I have some prior experience within primary education as I have volunteered in a local primary school on multiple occasions. I will also be completing further experience in the sector in July 2025.
