I have lots of experience teaching in Secondary School's in Manchester, where I was Head of Humanities for 2 years. I have also worked in Greece, teaching adults and children living in refugee camps. Now I work for a start up company that helps homeless people, which is really interesting!

I think it is important that every tutoring session is different, depending on the kind of help you are looking for. Maybe exam questions are what you find tricky, or maybe you have missed some lessons on a particular topic. Depending on how you learn best, tells me the best way to design our tutoring sessions. It is important that the sessions are enjoyable too - I'll use videos, different activities, quizzes, memory games, and different exam question techniques to make sure you have all the skills to smash your exam.
I am still an examiner for Geography GCSE and have been in the past for History GCSE too - that means I know how to really get the best marks for these subjects and what is most useful to practice. I am really relaxed and think it is important that you look forward to coming to tutoring sessions, otherwise it just feels like an extension of school!
