My lessons are easy going, and a very chilled sort of vibe! I believe relaxed learning to a certain extent can help students to understand different ways of problem solving, as I feel it can take the mind by surprise.

When learning with me I would firstly usually be taking you through a few practise questions on the topic of learning, to get us all used to what kind of words or sayings would be popping up during our lesson, once we have gone through that I would set individual tasks for everyone to try, whilst answering any questions or queries students may have about the topic, I'm very approachable and would like to see myself as an open book! So I welcome any questions at all times.

Once completing these tasks I would bring the class back together to go through some questions I felt majority struggled with, or even a select few. So that they are given another opportunity to see an example with the class, that could help with the understanding of the topic itself.

Once everyone is happy, I would move on to next topic of discussion.

I have been asked a multitude of times about personal music listening/phones in class also, I am more than supportive of students using mobiles for individual learning (So long as learning doesn't involve Snapchat!) and music listening through headphones as that always helped me personally too! But I would say, if I notice an issue with the student when it comes to attention, or not quite understanding with everyone else, I may suggest the music to be switched off as it may be impacting how they learn!
