I will make lessons fun and we will learn together. I am very friendly, approachable and patient. I am happy to repeat topics and explain them in a variety of ways until you are confident and able to succeed on your own. I will use powerpoint presentations and animations to make lesson more visual and all your work will be stored on a digital portfolio so you can access the lessons and revisit key topics as part of your revision. I will also offer you plenty of opportunities to practice and consolidate your skills and can even give you homework if you really want it!

I have been teaching maths for many years so I have a good understanding of the common mistakes students make. We can explore your understanding of different topics and identify any misconceptions you may have. I find that once students become aware of the typical mistakes that they make, they begin to correct themselves. Over time we can build a secure and solid understanding of mathematical concepts and skills that can help you achieve better grades. Ultimately your maths will improve and you will succeed.

I find great satisfaction when I see my students get good grades and go onto to study A levels or go into the career they always wanted.
