Hi! My name is James, and I'm currently doing a BA in French and Sociology at University. I am here to build and connect students to the subject(s) and wish to ignite the passion that I experienced when learning. I already have previous experience with larger groups of mentees where I assisted them in revision skills and content-based activities in French, Sociology, as well as English Literature, at both GCSE and A-Level.
Additionally, I have taken virtual and physical work experience in the education system, and have learned pedagogical skills (safeguarding and learning differences). Further, I have observed and participated in modern foreign language lectures and seminars at the University of Kent for work experience.

Previous content of lessons and tutoring sessions I have hosted include exam skills and paper walkthroughs, lesson warm-ups and cool-downs, exam question examples, and oral practice (debates and conversations).
Upon tutoring, I would like to customise and create a personalised learning plan for all mentees, where we work together to improve specific skills and gaps in knowledge.
