I graduated from Brighton Institute of Modern Music with an HND in Popular Music and have spent the years since then performing and writing with a number of bands, playing venues of all sizes plus festivals and private functions.
My lessons focus on the musical interests of the individual student, in consultation with students I prepare material to study based on suggestions they make from music they are passionate about learning. This method hopefully allows the student to progress while also learning the music that they want to play.
Alongside this I also incorporate elements of music theory + technical development (interval recognition, ear training, muscle memory etc.)
