I am a volunteer leader in an initiative at our associated High School to enhance the Maths skills of children in years 7-9. As a 6th form volunteer leader my role is to prepare thought provoking Maths questions, to assist the children in working through these problems and to encourage them to explore alternative methods of solution (some of which may initially seem hidden) with a focus on creative thinking and challenge.
