English as a subject can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your schooling life. I fully appreciate that for some students, it can also sometimes feel tremendously difficult.

I'm very luck in that from a young age I was passionate about English, both in terms of learning the subject at school, but also as an avid reader in my own time and then later becoming a professional writer.

The benefit of teaching one-to-one lessons is that I can engage on a more personal level with my student, learning quickly about their strengths with English and any areas they may be struggling with - including whether or not they even like the subject. From here I'll work hard to improve the areas students are struggling with the most, and help to instil a number of learning and writing methods I've applied for many years - ones that continue to ensure students achieve the highest grade they are capable of.

Above all, my lessons are fun, engaging and i encourage students to become more comfortable expressing themselves both verbally and on the page.
