My greatest strength as a teacher was the ability to build positive working relationships with my students. This allowed them to feel comfortable to ask questions and take risks with their learning free of judgement.

Therefore, in a typical tutor lesson would involve numerous teaching styles whether it be problem solving tasks, worksheets and or discussions for example. I like the sessions to feel like a partnership where we work together to reach the students goal. In this sense I have clear expectations of what I expect but not only that I allow the student to set clear expectations of myself as the teacher, therefore, we can hold each other accountable throughout the duration of our sessions.
