Experience:

For over 20 years, I have been honing my guitar skills. I have performed in numerous bands, playing a variety of genres including rock, funk, and blues. My current band, The Soul Strutters, is a successful function band that performs throughout the UK and abroad. In addition to playing in bands, I also work as a session guitarist, recording for various artists. This diverse experience has allowed me to learn and adapt to many different styles of music.

Education:

I have a strong educational background in music. I studied the "Performing Musician" course at Access to Music in Bristol and then went on to study the "Session Musician" course at the British Academy of New Music in London. This comprehensive training has given me the skills and knowledge to excel as both a performer and a teacher.

Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that learning guitar should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I will teach people their favourite songs and can also teach them theory if they wish, tailoring my lessons to each individual student's interests and goals. Not only that, but I can teach both classical and contemporary grades. With over 20 years of experience teaching in schools, colleges, privately and online, I am dedicated to helping my students progress and achieve their musical aspirations.
