I hold a master’s degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics (PDE: Partial Differential Equations) from Cergy-Paris University (France) in 2008. The same year, I passed the national exam to be a Certified Teacher. I also completed in 2018 the first semester of Master M2 Research in Mathematics (PDE) from Aix-Marseille University (France).

Having worked with the best tutoring agencies in Paris (Cours Legendre, Completude, Anacours, Academia) and as a self-employed. I have experience supporting successful applications to colleges and universities. Some of my high school students found a place in Engineering schools, Economics, Medical studies . Also, mid school and high school diplomas.

Also experienced in Digital Education, worked as a Content Writer for my own Website, and 5 years for a startup company, where I gained knowledge about other curricula (UK, US). I published a full course book for high school and distributed it in 2012. Finally I have some knowledge in Networks, Fiber-Optics, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Python, Cybersecurity.

More than 50 students in my career of private tutor, and also 50 others as a classroom teacher.

Qualities :
Professional and reliable are my first qualities. Intuitive and visual understanding of the mathematical concepts that I try to pass to my students. Also rigorous and accurate.
I have a good appreciation of aptitudes and requirements of students. I adapt to their needing, enabling them to achieve their potential.

Note :
I focus only on Mathematics to provide the best results. I have a wide range of collection of books, practice exercises, exam subjects up-to-date for all the following curricula.

Method :

My work with a student is divided into 3 phases :

1) Before the course, I prepare our new lessons, exercises… I also contact the student to know about their new materials from their school and if they need anything in particular. That is to make our meeting efficient.

2) The course, when the student share their works, understandings, questions etc... And when I teach them the methodology, assess their knowledge and good understanding of concepts.

3) After the course, I deliver a written report, and if asked further homework (usually on gaps from previous years, or further exercises to master a concept). My clients can contact me at any time if necessary, to ensure continuous development and learning.

Advice :
— 1h per course can be enough for young students. Year 7-8-9.
— 1h30 is better for 16+ students. Year 10-11.
— 2h is better for A level, IB, University entrance exams (for example, Oxford MAT is 2h30, the student needs to get used working during such kind of duration, and the best way is to learn performing math tasks regularly during more than 2h in a row). Year 12-13, and Undergraduate.

For all those situations, one rate : £60 / hour. Discounts available for 10h, 30h packs.
