Depending on your level, if we were to start with a complete beginner we would first start with greetings to make the learner more excited about learning. We would them move onto the basics such as numbers, colours and places. I would however tailor it to what the tutee wants to use French for. If I was a tutor for a student I could help them with homework to aid them along with the learning of their teacher. However if you simply wanted to learn for a holiday trip I could teach phrases such as 'how much is this' or 'how do I get to...'. I would create slides that I would present on my tablet that would go through the material and can even share some of the cartoons I watched as a child and recommend the books I used to read.
