I love having interactive lessons. Following the structure of worksheets and bouncing off students is the way I learnt and is the way I wish to teach. Making a student sit down for 20 minutes in silence while they struggle on a problem and don’t feel comfortable asking for help is the worst. I love having interactive lessons. Following the structure of worksheets and bouncing off students is the way I learnt and is the way I wish to teach. Making a student sit down for 20 minutes in silence while they struggle on a problem and don’t feel comfortable asking for help is the worst. My lessons should feel more like a good discussion and conversation to make everyone feel more included but also reduce that stigma of maths being such an academic subject. Anyone can excel if they are provided with the right teaching materials .
