Tuition sessions will be based entirely around specific areas of your choosing and will reflect your academic syllabus, including exam prep.

An initial ‘discovery call’ can be organised so that we can jointly understand struggling areas and, importantly, how to address these!

I am a chatty, relatable person with 5 years of higher education experience and an excellent understanding of secondary/A-level education. My tuition sessions will be friendly and informal, whilst still being highly professional. In my experience, this facilitates a better learning environment as opposed to an ‘ultra-formal’ setting that is sometimes assumed between teacher and student.

I aim to use lots of PowerPoints/ annotated diagrams/ course syllabus pages to give students a step-by-step walk through of complex theories and ideas, with plenty of discussion throughout. This will be supplemented with mock questions and directed further reading by me as needed!

The majority of my tuition will be based around the content of exam questions on a particular topic, as these are ultimately what you need to learn for your A-level or GCSE exams. I am able to cover exam technique for long and short-answer questions.

Outside of immediate academic tuition, I am on hand to provide guidance for university applications if this is of interest. I am able to offer my own personal experience in applying for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and what universities actually look for!
