I have previous informal tutoring experience for both friends and fellow students -- specifically at A Level and undergraduate level.
If you wish to engage in a tutoring session with me then it will be through an online medium, most likely zoom or google meets (whichever suits your preference more).
The first session that we have will be an onboarding session just for you to explain what you're finding difficult, areas which you think need improvement and possible feedback that you've been receiving from your teachers or previous tutors. In this first session I will likely provide you with some tasks just to gauge your level of competency and proficiency in subjects and see if I can spot any other areas or patterns that may need fixing.
I'm a firm believer (especially in A Level and other humanities subjects) that practice makes perfect in relation to practicing answers. This is how I changed my grade from a D to an A* in English Literature A Level and achieved full marks in both pieces of coursework! Therefore, I am more than happy to give feedback and review essay and answer attempts to tutees whenever they wish.
Sessions will cover an equal amount of both content and exam writing, planning and preparation skills to ensure you are making the most of your time outside of our sessions. Having achieved straight A's at A Level in English Literature, History, Politics and my Extended Project Qualification (and having completed these exams not long ago) I believe we can help release your true potential through my sessions!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have!
