I have experience of delivering university seminars and tutorials to 3-20 people. I expect my students to put in the work and I will too.

My lessons will vary from discussing recent case law, statutes and recent academic articles in the area that the student is exploring. I will often set problem questions or essays for the student to write from week to week to cement the material covered and to develop a strong writing ability ready for the exams and coursework. I will often point to further reading and interesting topics that will enhance the students wider understanding of the course and topic in question.

I mainly use law textbooks for a basic understanding and will then refer my students to cases and statutes in order to develop their knowledge more fully. We will then apply this knowledge in a practical sense to problem questions and develop a method to answer problem questions and essays in exam settings.
