As a current Law LLB Undergraduate and Private English Tutor for Primary and Secondary Education, I provide private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance and prepare for academic tests. Through many years of tutoring experience I have been able to collaborate with students, parents, and teachers to determine student needs, develop tutoring plans, and assess student progress. This role further consists of preparing lesson plans or learning materials for tutoring sessions according to students needs and goals. In having a diverse portfolio of students, this role has enabled me to provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, and build confidence in students so that they may excel in their studies. My approach to tutoring is student-centered and focused on building confidence and academic skills. I work closely with each student to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a personalized learning plan that is both challenging and achievable. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep sessions engaging and enjoyable, while also ensuring that students make steady progress towards their goals. As a tutor, I am patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping my students succeed. I believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things with the right support and guidance, and I am committed to helping each of my students unlock their full potential. During the course of my tutoring experience I have attained a 100% grade 9-6 pass rate in GCSE English Literature & Language. This is inclusive of students with learning difficulties such as ADHD and Dyslexia.
