My lesson format depends on the student. I always tailor the lesson to the student and their needs.

I studied Music at Durham university and Music Education (Master's) at UCL.

I have worked in music schools and privately as both a tutor and a singing teacher.

I have worked with a range of students (both children and adults) of varying abilities.

In my lessons, I like to involve the student, challenging them to analyse music (scores, audios, history) and assess their own performance at the end of the lesson.

I give students a short piece of work between sessions to round up a topic and to move onto the next.

- music grades (ABRSM)

I have experience in working with SEN and with non-English-speaking students.
