Hola a todos! Hi everyone!
My most favorite teaching method is the “Mixed or Bended Style” which incorporates demonstration, facilitation and development of knowledge (or task delegation). It must however be noted that what works best for me and happens to be my favorite might not be suitable for someone else.
The essence of an adopted teaching style is to engage the students in an active learning process and initiate critical thoughts in them. There are also times when one has to adjust his/her style just to accommodate the needs of the learners.
I fancy the Mixed Style (blending those 3 methods) because it's a well-integrated approach that merges my personality and key interests with the students’ needs. Although, it is believed in some quarters that blending tends to dilute learning, I really don't think so. This student-centred method has always been my secret and it worked wonders for me during my teaching practice.
If you can do a proper assessment of yourself and continuously develop your teaching style while integrating the appropriate class/lecture room management skills, you'll surely know what works best for you.
The blended style rocks for me, but whatever teaching method we go for, it's imperative that we display positivity, set the right objectives, master our lessons and expect nothing but the best from our students!
