Jade Thornton

Hi there!

My names Jade Thornton and i’m a A-level english language and literature student. With a B in English Language at GCSE level. I am currently still studying the subject. for the last three years I have been tutoring year 8 Students in my school on english and helping them with grammar, spelling and reading. Helping them to be able to understand and read between the lines within books.

I’m passionate about helping young individuals reach their full potential with English language and Literature. My goal is to help them understand language techniques, understand and use English language and literature in a way that is beneficial to them and in a way that will grow their knowledge within the subject.

I have over a years experience working in Retail, for the last fourteen month’s I have been employed by Iceland ‘The food Warehouse’ where my communication and listening skills have been constantly developing, working with people and my prior knowledge and experience within tutoring will make me the perfect candidate for this role.

I’ve always had a passion for working with people and helping people learn, so I figured that a job like this would be perfect for me, for prices as low as £7 an hour I am able to tutor you and help you grow your vocabulary, speaking & listening skills and being able to contextualise and comprehend literature, whilst taking everything at your own pace.
