Jacqueline Blues

I have over 15 years experience in teaching. I taught at an English college for 10 years, in Health Studies, as well as teaching how to write a good CV, application form and personal statements, which I can do for you too. I taught EFL for a further 5 years, to students aged from 10 to 70.
This included lessons in basic English up to and including specialised English subjects relevent to specific careers and employment. I have taught and been an invigilator for Ielts and Cambridge exams.
I can teach on a 1 to1 basis, or in small groups. I like to make my lessons fun, conversational and challenging.
I live in Portsmouth, which is a very multi cultural city, especially due to the University here, and am happy to help uni students, too.
I would also be willing to arrange and accompany students on trips out to local attractions. I am a Portsmouth Ambassador, so I know a lot about attractions and events in the city. I also work at The Mary Rose Museum inside the Historic Dockyard.
I am keen to work with companies, teaching EFL to their employees, as well as helping students, and individuals who wish to improve their English for personal or professional reasons. I will be flexible to meet your individual needs. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
