Through my education at the University of Northern Colorado I have been trained with studying history in a professional manner as well as how to teach it. In my lessons I like to use PowerPoints and along with short lectures, and during that time I encourage discussion in my classroom. I try to find a way to make history interesting as it is easy to find history as the boring subject, but that's just because a lot of teachers make it one. I intend on making your learning journey a fun one where you won't only pass your tests or ace those papers, but you will leave this experience knowing you have gained a great understanding of history. My personal favorite subject to study really depends on the day. I love learning about our world we live in and so I study a wide range of history which includes European history, American both North and South, Asian history such as Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian, and so on. You can expect that any form of history you need tutoring in I will have knowledge in that area and I will help you understand the time periods you need to succeed. Throughout my lessons expect to view PowerPoints, have videos recommendations, help on assignments, studying for tests, and projects. We will do exercises to better your skills of learning how to find historical knowledge through primary and secondary sources, and interpret what it is the sources are saying. Overall I plan on making a fun environment where my students will not only learn what they need, but also enjoy their time.
