Hello all,

My name is Jake, a qualified TEFL teacher with over seven years teaching experience

I have taught at some well known and popular language schools in the UK, Italy and Spain in the past and for the past four years I have taught English as a Foreign Language online to students in Asia.

I have experience with exam preparation (including all the Cambridge exams and Trinity exams) as well as teaching reading skills and phonics for younger students.

Working with adults is something I have also done in the past and I we can set learning goals together to help you on your English learning journey.

I use a variety of methods depending on the student and I have multiple books and resources available for students of all ages and levels.

Now here's a little about me and my interests-

I am an enthusiastic fan of books, poetry and music, and when my head is not in a book, I also enjoy watching TV series or learning languages.

On top of this, I am also a keen football fan (although nowadays more watching than playing).

I like to include some of my interests in the lesson and I like to encourage students to share their hobbies and interests too, this helps to tailor your lessons a little more to suit your needs and makes lessons just that little bit more fun!

Speaking of fun, I provide songs and games in my lessons for my students (not only the younger ones) and can help students not only build their learning skills but also their confidence.
