The format will consist of me going over topics that the students are finding tough and me providing them with the guidance they need. My goal is for at the end of the lesson the student will feel comfortable with that topic and if the student feels they need more time on that topic then it can me made. We will do things such as example questions, reading information and going on the general notes of the topic and also doing past papers or past paper questions so the student knows what their exam board is looking for so what are the keywords they need to put down in a question to get all the marks. You may find yourself asking how do I qualify to teach your son/daughter these subjects well as an A level student who is currently taking physics, chemistry and maths I feel my experience with these subjects at A level have improved my understanding of the subjects and I can share my knowledge with others and help them tackle the challenges I struggled with at gcse. For further reassurance I got a A in physics at gcse level a A* in chemistry and a A in maths so I will be able to share the experience of someone who didn’t get the highest grades and the struggles of having to work harder than others. I will be able to give advice on how to revise and prepare for the exams that come up as they are challenging and I feel students need more help in preparing for them.
