In my lessons I attempt to guide students through topics, pausing regularly to ensure they have understood. I tailor my lessons to the subject matter and level required, often focusing on weak areas for the student in an attempt to increase their overall understanding.

I have a degree in Genetics and took Higher-level Biology at IB (international A-level equivalent). During my time as a student, I worked as a private tutor for a year. I grew up in a multicultural environment and can easily teach students from any environment or background.

I have previously provided private 1:1 lessons in Biology, Economics, Chemistry and Maths up to A level. During this I learned how to specify my lessons for each topic and subject, to suit the student's needs.
I use video-sharing software, interactive lessons and a slow methodical approach to ensure you don't feel lost and you can enjoy the learning process as you feel more capable throughout our lessons. I am also open to suggestions and feedback (which I regularly ask for) which help me to improve my lessons and tailor them more to the student's needs. I aim to improve the student's understanding, increase their confidence and reduce any issues which have come about due to any struggle with the subject matter. As a student myself, I understand how struggling in a specific topic or subject can cause serious issues with confidence and I will be compassionate to your specific struggle and I aim to help you through it.
