I have a master's degree in aerospace Propulsion from Cranfield University which is applied physics and a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering. I have loved Physics since high school, and this translated to very impressive grades. After learning the concepts, I aspired to learn applied physics and that's how I found myself in aerospace. I will help you love physics because someone does best in what he/she loves. I have always loved to share my knowledge with students. As a professional engineer, I also teach degree and diploma students at the Technical University of Kenya. I bring this teaching experience and knowledge to bring a difference in the student's life.
I normally prepare notes covering the syllabus on time and share them with the students. In every lesson, I prepare a lesson plan and PowerPoint notes for illustration and demonstration. At the beginning of every lesson, I share the objectives of the lesson, review the previous lesson and bring in triggers and lesson starters before the main content delivery. This helps the student to remember what was covered previously and connect it with what is to be taught. It also allows the student to clarify any concern which was not addressed. In covering the topic of the day, I explain concepts, discuss with the students, make illustrations and solve related problems to ensure that the students understand. For online based classes, I come up with simulations-based experiments to balance the theory classes. Sometimes I give assignments to help students to develop problem-solving skills.
