I generally change my teaching style to best fit the student, and what they would like to learn. My approach to teaching depends on how developed you are in English, the more developed the more we will focus on exposure to native language.

I usually begin with each student by teaching a lesson that grows in difficulty as we go on. By doing this I'll be able to evaluate your proficiency, and plan lessons around this so that we can make future lessons more productive by teaching you what you would like to learn at the level that suites you best.

I work using lots of different methods but always begin with a powerpoint presentation where I prime us for the lesson with relevant vocabulary and grammar. Where possible I introduce real world examples such as newspaper articles and book sources especially for building a students comprehension. For conversational practice I use plays as well as pieces I write specifically for any subjects the student is interested in focusing on.
