I was born in Verona to Nigerian parents, but before my first birthday, I moved to Piacenza, where I spent the most formative years of my life. It was there that my passion for European literature, philosophy, and modern history was born. During high school, I also learned Spanish, German, and English, delving into their respective literatures.

At the age of 19, I moved to Lancaster to study Political Science and International Relations, further deepening my interest in the humanities and modern history. I then built upon this foundation with a Master's in Defence, Development, and Diplomacy at Durham University. Now, I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne, a city I proudly call home, where I have established both my career and my roots.

During my undergraduate studies at Lancaster University, I was given the opportunity to teach Italian to fellow students as part of a Student Union initiative aimed at promoting cultural diversity on campus. Here I gained valuable teaching experience learning how to tailor my approach to better suit each person learning preferences and style. I managed to achieve this, for instance, by blending practical language use, fostering communication in everyday situations, with a structured focus on formal grammar. Nevertheless, my aim is to structure my lessons around the students need and preferences.
