My Reading and Math lessons are based on my student's interests and levels. I first have to learn from my students before I can teach. I will focus on learning how my students learn best for the first few days.
I will also give basic assessment tests to understand more about the learning levels of every child. I have created many reading/science lessons based on nature. Here are two of them:
Aware of the Bear talks about what a person should do if they encounter a bear. Even if you live in the city and are sure you will never come in contact with such a creature, this lesson will help you imagine such an experience.
Give a Hoot about Owls is a lesson about owls from around the world, starting here in my country, the US, and my state, New Hampshire.
With RAZ Kids (Reading A-Z) and memberships, I can access thousands of books and worksheets at your ability level and interest level.
During the pandemic and stormy weather, I taught my students remotely. I look forward to continuing my teaching online with you! Learning is an adventure, and I will bring adventure and fun to my lessons. Together we will discover amazing secrets in nature, history, and life.
