My lessons are very interactive. I first teach the content in depth and in detail, then test my students using various active recall methods to ensure they understand and can retain the content.
I encourage my students to do past paper questions under timed conditions so that when they sit an exam they are very familiar with the structure of a paper.
I make sure that my students feel comfortable to ask any questions, because I believe that asking questions is key to academic growth.
I cater my lessons to individual needs, as it is clear that not every teaching method is suitable for all students. I discover what works for each student the more I teach them and ask them how they prefer to learn.
I have experience tutoring Secondary School students one-to-one both in person and online.
I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE History so I am passionate about sharing the effective studying methods I used during my GCSE’s to help students reach their goals.
I do not give up on any student, every single student is worth my time and effort.
I give all of my students detailed feedback on their work, in order to guarantee that they understand what they succeeded at and what requires improvement.
I also desire my students to decipher where they believe they made mistakes for them to further improve on their weaknesses.
I use online resources in my lessons such as Youtube videos, which are very helpful in summarising topics.
