I am a Finance student at LSE coming from Hong Kong. Back in my high school years, I have been providing Chinese tutoring lessons to primary and secondary students. My lessons format are highly customizable and I would prefer discussing with students before drafting any lesson plan so as to ensure that the needs of students are fully addressed.
So to speak, the general structure of my lesson composes of three parts, namely Teaching, Exercising and Revising. I would first deliver lesson to students with regards to the topic of that lesson ( which could be decided according to student’s wishes ). Given my rich experience in tutoring, I could ensure you this presentation of mine would be extremely straight to the point and easy to follow.
Afterwards, I would provide exercises on current topics to student for them to complete during lessons. Exercises would be short to keep the lessons smooth. Last but not least, I would provide feedbacks on students’ work from the current lesson or from the past lesson. This feedback session is essential given the need for me to point out students’ to-be-improved skills based on their exercises. It is through these feedbacks that both of me and my student could keep track of the current progress to ensure sufficient improvement in due course.
