I was born and raised in Bermuda, but have recently moved to the UK to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portsmouth.

I have a passion for helping others and have experience with teaching school-age children.

I have previously tutored GCSE Maths and Physics. I offer a comprehensive learning schedule, going over the syllabus, targeting areas that need to be improved. I offer feedback to parents on how their child is progressing and what they can do to help them outside of my time with them.

My lessons would typically begin with the introduction of a topic, making sure the student has a basic understanding of all modules and relevant information. Then move on to testing the student's knowledge and how much they've retained. Next is to focus on subjects that the student is struggling on until the student is competent in that area. Finally, repeat tests and past paper questions to understand how the questions are laid out and what the examiner will be looking for in the answer. This is a key step that will lead to scoring top marks in the exams.

I have found this method of rapid testing and practice questions extremely helpful, especially for Maths and Physics. During my schooling, I had the help of a tutor, and using this teaching method, was able to achieve A*s in my GCSE Exams.

I'm open and available to all queries, so please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions!
