I believe that keeping students engaged is key for learning and taking in information. With this I keep students engaged by testing them on content that I have just covered. I like to use past paper exam questions as they provide the best quality of questions and helps to get students familiar with the type of questions that they would come across in their exams. I tailor my lessons to my students, so before hand I would ask them on the specific area they wish to have help in. I then prepare material such as useful diagrams that would help illustrate the process or point being taught. I would then put together some questions and put their new found knowledge to the test. I will always get to know my students and find out how they learn best so that we get the most out of our sessions.
